So today IRCC minister will make some sort of announcement today at 1:30pm. I can only hope he has some news regarding our PR files for Quebec and the long processing times. But he might just address essential workers.
Yes he has, as Québec government gives the annual quota. Which is completely outrageous if you consider that Québec has already accepted us giving us CSQ.

What a joke indeed. Shameless. Mindbogglingly shameless. This is Orwellian. Surreal. The problem is that we and our allies are trying to draw attention to the insane disparities in policy, processing times, and outcomes between QSWP and other programs through media, public fora, and individual actions (like letter-writing campaigns). We'll never get anywhere like this because MM will always respond with his Kafkaesque obfuscation and absurd corporate jargonspeak ("we're working closely with Quebec government and we value all immigrants..."). The CAQ gov. will also never be held accountable as long as we ask questions on twitter... Nothing will happen until we take collective action through the courts. We need to sue. Other groups of people have successfully sued both IRCC (at the time CIC) and MIDI over bad faith policies and actions.
I think if Quebec have the same program , It will be bad for us (the Quebec non essential skilled worker) . As If Quebec applied the same program they will put a lot of essential people ahead of us
This is so frustrating to hear that 40,000 new applications can be processed with a simple criteria. Why can’t they process the already submitted QSW applications who are also graduated from Canadian institutions that are waiting for years and already contributing. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...ic-policies/trpr-international-graduates.html
