I am writing on behalf on my brother, who got admission for MENg Civil Engineering in UBC Okanagen for September 2021 (1.5 years course).

He will be applying from UAE under NON-SDS stream as he is pursuing his undergraduate there.

I would like to know if the full tution payment for 1 year is required for Non SDS stream ?

Also, if anyone else is going to same place, we would like to get in contact.

Its not mandatory but he will have better chances if you pay the fees in advance. Shows your commitment to Visa officer. For me, I was not required to pay my deposit.

University usually fund the student in the Ph.D. program, sometimes even, if the student's profile is good, payout the money
