I got an AOR emailed in August 2019 and when I go to check my application status online nothing shows up. I suppose they aren't processing it yet which seems odd.

I haven't been here for a while. I am August 2019 applicant from Hamilton, ON. I haven't heard anything from IRCC over a year now. Not even test invite. Am I the only one? Please share you timeline
It only applies to application submitted after April 1 AND it's only the Right of Citizenship fee being refunded. AND, the refund is only issued if the delay is between your DM and Oath. I've read your post, unfortunately this won't apply to all of us who submitted before April 2021.
We are still waiting.. Covid had us stock overseas and then came back. A request of fingerprints again. This is our timeline.

Thanks for the tips! I have read the book once already and have done several of the practice tests with scores of 100 as well. I hope I will be among the people who get the easier questions lol. I will read the book again and then proceed with the test by the 14/15.

I guess most of August 2019 applicants are "In process" status for quite a while including me. Check your GCMS notes most likely its residency verification that is taking longer. It also depends which office is processing your application.
