There is usually a letter with the returned package that instructs you on what to do. Some people needed to just resubmit the same application after attaching the correct documents, and some needed to prepare new application and attach new physical presence calculations. I would read the letter thoroughly.

You're correct. There was a letter attached to each application. however, it doesn't say anything clearly. It says "If you choose to resubmit a complete application for a grant of citizenship, make sure you include the completed application form submitted on a version of the application form dated October 2017 or later. I don;t understand what do they mean by "complete application". The version that I submitted was 10-2020, so I don't see any issue in that aspect. So now I am confused, If I have to fill a new application from scratch or just attach the document they requested to the returned package and resubmit.

If you used latest form then in my opinion you can just send it with additional document.

Hi, courrier via expressmail canada post with tracking ! Took 2 weeks to reach them tho coz of delay on CP due to covid outbreak in mississauga CP! But it did get a signature !

and for the person above, no i can’t see anything online yet to see progress!

Ecas update: He can't see his details in ECAS yet for some reason.

My PR expires in Aug 2021 and my citizenship application is in process ... Should I apply for PR renewal ? because I am worried that citizenship will not be approved by Aug 2021 and I need legal status to continue to work.

My Citizenship application was received February 19, 2020, AOR on August 14, 2020, Started Processing on October 26, 2020

I have a friend that submitted her application Sep 2019 and have not received any updates about her application after AOR, she called IRCC and they told her to renew her PR at least 6 months ahead of the expiry date, therefore I would suggest that you start your PR renewal as soon as possible.

Its up to you if you want to renew your PR card or not.
PR card is only needed to travel out of Canada and to return back to Canada.
If your PR card expires, you don’t lose your PR status.
You are a permanent resident as long as you maintain your residency requirements.

Someone has already added the info to the spreadsheet. For ECAS, it takes 24-48 hours for your application to show up after receiving the AOR.
