I'll call them and ask about this. I have my UCI from previous TRV application, that's how I was able to use the webform to send them my husband's new passport. I'm just worried about changing our address and maybe there's a conflict. This thing is making my anxiety worse.
But I'll give them a call and see if it's wise to change our address at this stage.
Too late in your case but for most applicants, esp where postal service may be unreliable, it really may be preferable to provide a mailing address in Canada (we use a friend for mailing purposes).
Yes, it's okay to give a mailing address in Canada for the sponsor.
Form 1344e, in the section sponsor contact information, has two very clear areas for address of the sponsor: mailing address and residential address (the latter providing an option to check 'same as mailing address.')
The form is designed to allow the sponsor to provide a separate mailing address and residential address; the mailing address can be in Canada and the other the (factual) residential address abroad.

My husband (PA) received BIL today with an application # starting with F. This is the first communication we have received about our application. No AOR yet. We were starting to wonder if our application was lost so it's good to know they have it at least.
Application was received October 21st. Outland UK.
I’m new to the forum (finally joined) however I have been lurking for awhile. Thankfully some of the October 2020 applicants are finally seeing progress. I’m sponsorning my hubby who resides in US. Our timeline:
1. Application received October 15, 2020 (sent via FedEx)
2. AOR received March 25, 2021
3. Biometrics requested April 1, 2021
4. Sponsor approval April 6, 2021
5. Medical requested April 7, 2021
Very cool to see this forum and feel not so horrible for having heard nothing about my application, sent in October 2020. Really hope to get something in the next week, seeing as it seems to be ramping up.

Well...we never managed to get a signature or date receipt for our application. Thankfully I got the information that the application made it to Sydney through the Web form. So, sometime in October is all I know.
The application is for my German husband. I'm Canadian and we live in Berlin with 2 Canadian/German kids. We were really hoping to get there by the new school year but that is a distant dream I suppose!
