My study permit was rejected today with the following reason

"YOUR STUDY PERMIT HAS NOW EXPIRED THEREFORE YOU MUST SUBMIT A NEW STUDY PERMIT APPLICATION ONCE SUBMITTED PLEASE INFORM US"

I applied on January 28th and my permit expired on March 14th while I had already applied for an extension. Why would I need to apply for a study permit if I am already a full time student? That does not make any sense. Please explain? I am very confused and frustrated. I applied outside Canada and have been a full time student since January 2018

@Shaild, rececied email from ircc saying that it submitted Abu Dhabi office the documents submitted by me through wenform. What does it mean ? I think when ever you use webform the documents are supposed to be directly hitting your application portal ,correct?

I dont think so. Think of webform like an email. Every webform you send will create a record of it on your profile but it will still be reviewed by human.
