One of my friend applied Dec 2020 ( cec inland) , bio done Jan 2021 , got approval yesterday

We both prepared all docs and he had a study permit refusal in 2017 but got pr in 3.5 months!!

I'm still waiting and close to 6 months . Very very very straightforward app.

Happy for him but is that fair ??

I did at the time I posted. One more person in the group with the same AOR as mine got the GU. I thought just like last Sunday everyone also got the GU considering at this time , there are less chances than any officer might be working for a real GU.

Did you or anyone else on this forum got the GU also ?

I actually got around more than one hour back. Around one hour and 15 min back. Now our status is also changed to submitted. You might have missed it if you checked it just now and not then , I think.

My 6 months timeline will be on 4th April 2021. The last time I called IRCC in February, they told me my Eligibility was conclusively passed, Criminality and Info Sharing in Progress and Security NOT started, VO was Ottowa. Now I was thinking of requesting a GCMS NOTE. Shall I ask for a GCMS from IRCC or from CBSA? Those who have already applied please let me know.

Only one week left, to the 6 months' "usual" processing time, not sure when the luck stands of my application. Looks like they are just doing the CEC applications and most of them from Ottawa VO not see any from Sydney VO yet.
Can't do anything now...

I ordered with ircc, easier to understand but gcms notes were extracted 2 days after my request and took around 40 days to arrive by mail.

I then ordered with cbsa (January) and notes were extracted 3 weeks after my request and took 2 weeks to arrive.

I ordered again with cbsa last 16th March. Waiting.

Hey, could you tell how IRCC notes are easier to understand than CBSA? I have ordered CBSA once, considering to order IRCC notes after my 6 month timeline is up
