Hi guys, still waiting for my certificate! But, noticed today that my ecas says: "Complete" so, I think the certificate must be on its way now!

This final line item was added:

4. You became a Canadian citizen on March 8, 2021.

Congrats! I believe this status update happens the day after Oath ceremony.

In my case, it updated 18 days later. I had my oath on March 8th and it just updated today - no certificate yet. :/

I'm tired of waiting for Oath request. DM on Feb 14 and radio silence since then. Even when I called them early march they said everything is done and to wait for oath request.

Which office is processing your application? As you know Oaths have resumed (after a month long silence due to tech issues, as reported by others) so I think hang in there. Probably send a web form in first week of April?

I read somewhere that the due to tech difficulties, now Oath will be administered for each client by 1 officer. Is it true? Earlier on there were mass Oath ceremonies.

Where did you get that? Should this be true they would have to have 25-40 times the personnel or move oaths for literally years...

Meanwhile can someone share the most updated stats on Oaths administered in 2021?.I don't see anything in Google search.

Here is the link , about 110k became citizenship in 2020 versus 250k in 2019.

And also Out of 110K in 2020, around 50-60K were just in first two months of 2020 before lockdown. It was just around 50K in last 10 months of 2020.

I can't imagine 1 on 1 oaths... It's not just the officers, but I can't see judges being able to give that much time to oaths every day. That said, 25 was a gong show on zoom...everyone talking at the same time, you can't even tell what's being said, the feedback, the noise in the background... definitely takes away from the oath that you had hoped for. C'est la vie I suppose.
