Same as here. Its shameful... I dont know untill when they will use Covid as an excuse... every body can work with the new normal except these guys

And the big lie here is "we are still actively processing your Family Class "... but we just wanted to let you know : even when you all are working so hard during the pandemic we are not because we want to use Covid as an excuse ... Juts another BS

2 months.. i guess we have a long way to go. I was hoping to get passport back sooner so they could travel in May or June. Now it may change

seems like all the applicants in 2020 already received their invitation letter. Soon they will submit theirs. This is so ridiculous when CIC start on 2020 applications and we are still being stuck.
At least they have to give us a result before doing anything next, no matter what the result is. I also received this delaying COVID excuse letter and I did not even get my sponsor approval yet.
This is so disappointed! like they never know which year come first, 2019 or 2020...

They hogged the passports for 2 months?! That's crazy! Is this the New Delhi office? How long do your parents have to enter Canada?

Parents are waiting with hope and my parents are 80+. Wish I had got the supervisa for them.

I feel as the letter says they have not paused the processing. They have sent this intimation as IRCC might cross 20-24 months time in processing PGP applications. Let's wait and watch for couple of weeks to see any process activities on this forum. I may request from all members to post if they receive any updates from IRCC. But one thing is for sure who received this email that their application is in que.We know no body can do anything except wait.

Some people are still getting passport requests and some are waiting although if they have applied in the same year.. I have applied in 2018 and IRCC started processing the application in Jan 2019 but still showing "in progress" and yesterday received a lame email from IRCC.

Have they asked for any financial documents like Notice of assessment after you applied for reassessment!
