They apparently will lift up the travel restrictions but is not for sure. I would think it will be this coming July. Nobody knows.

While 2020 paper based inland getting PR after 6-8 month so IRCC can show they are working on time and keep their goals that they were given,
Tomorrow I'll be celebrating 21 month of process and 100% in my GCKEY with no movement on my file

ONLY Few get pr in 11 12 months
Remember most are stuck , even inlanders
And same was case before pandemic, few inland and outland applicants used to get in 11 months and rest in decades

No my friend, IRCC is responsible due to an old system that they were sitting at home not working and getting paid.
Accepting more applicants to create even a bigger backlog.
I can continue all day how much they could do and not messing up.
Immigration is a business, IRCC is a business.

In my opinion, IRCC is in line with the government's covid plan.

If having the status of a student or temporary workers or visitors, the government has less responsibility.

Unlike in pr, the government has more responsibility including the benefits into it. IRCC behaves in some parts beyond our knowledge. For sure, they think and discussed it thoroughly. If there are some mistakes, they will change them right away.

Our logic is right but not the overall principles.

Just my thoughts.

Today is my 24 months of process.same as you. Ircc not like 2019 file.they r angry of us.papper base.

How exactly you have less responsibility ?
You pay tax same as PR\Citizen, Same medical coverage, Same benefits.
Only difference you can't vote..
As student or temporary workers or visitors you just pay more fees every time you need to deal with renewals..
