Do we need to give biometrics for this.?

Yes, I have the same concern, if we submit our passport in India, should we be giving our biometrics ? Since we applied for trv within Canada, biometrics werent required.

I think if a person gets PPR, the biometrics section is already reviewed
. We only need to submit the passport.

In the category section on the visa, I have visitor and not worker.

I previously studied in Canada and the category was Student. I am not sure if I should apply so I get a new visa for the worker category

Since you already have a Work permit and Visitor Visa, I dont think there would be any issue. However, just for for safety measure you can confirm with an agent.

I got my passport back with stamped visa from india .

Passport received at ircc March 5 2021 and today i got passport back with shiny visa with maple leafs

When you get passport request just send webform to VFS they will send you back email with payment link you will get email step by step.
