Does AR refer to the date mentioned as the application delivered in canada post tracking? Correct me if I am wrong, Other than that, we don't have any acknowledgment right ?.

Not sure about January AOR. One of my friend whose AOR is Marcg 4th received his MR along with AOR.
A many August applicant got MR too at that time I could see that.
We are still in waiting to get AOR.
