Yes, she verify with me about webcam situation during online test as I used external monitor and she confirmed that she receive my online test results.
That's good news. Did you not ask her when you should expect "Decision Made" or your oak invitation?

I have one more question that might be considered silly but just want to make sure. If I start my application online but then submit it on paper, is this going to be ok?

If I understood correctly, then you are planning to start filling application online. & if you feel that it may cause some issue, then you will send paper application using this information? I don't think it will cause a problem if you don't submit it online.

We are currently filling online application for my spouse & may instead send paper application in the end.

Yeah, I was thinking just in case I change my mind half way through. It seems like people were having (still having?) some issues with the online version. I’m mostly concerned about the CIC not being able to find online submitted applications after a few weeks of submission. Someone mentioned it in one of the threads. What do you think?

Yes, we have same worry. We will track progress of online applications for next 2-3 days & will decide accordingly. In the meantime online application is ready.

My theory is that they might have not seen it in the system cause there was no AOR sent yet. You know, like with the paper version, if you sent it but nobody opened it yet it won’t be in the system either.

Yes, that's right. My worry is that higher percentage of paper applicants got AOR as compared to online applicants. May be they have assigned only few agents for online. Let's see how it progresses for online applicants in next few days. If there is even minimal progress, I will apply for online.

Hi I already applied online application for my wife on 02-Jan-2021 and as I am still waiting, I am thinking to print our completely online application form with all the supporting documents and send it to IRCC. Do you think is this a good idea although my wife application is applied on 02-Jan-2021? Thanks and let me know.

I don’t know how they are going to look at such case when they receive two applications for the same person. I’d give it maybe another week and try to call immigration and ask if there is a way to cancel that online submission. It looks like you’re not the only one who submitted it in January and is still waiting.

Don't you think it is too ambitious to have expected a reply from IRCC for a Jan 2021 application? Even though I have noticed a 2 months timeline to AOR for some online applicants, you need to chill. And I don't believe sending in a paper application again would do any magic.

There are many who submitted the online application in first week of Dec 2020 but still didn't receive AOR. I myself submitted in second week of Dec 2020 but no AOR. Jan 2021 first week is relatively far because AOR for online applications is very slow as compared to physical applications. (Possibly because of lack of resources for these new online applications)

But on the positive side, some of the Dec 2020 applicants already got test invite while 2019 applicants are still waiting. The numbers are very small and could be just a trial but you should wait. So its possible that you may get little delayed AOR (3-6 weeks) as compared to physical applicants but then the chances of you getting a test invite within a month of AOR, are also very high.

I have questioned myself that as well. This whole online system is a mess!

I applied online January 17. I submitted a webform to update my expired healthcare with a new one and they told me they did not find anything application.

I called immigration and they said they did not find anything.

They asked me if I got an invitation and I said no. I used the link on your website.

First of all, how did those people got an invitation?

Also, they asked me if my application has a number and I was like, should I have an application number? and of course they are not sure.

If they don't want to accept any more. Should they just shut down the system??
Hey even I contacted them via webform one month after submitting my online application, to update my expired healthcare with a new one and they told me they didn't find my application. I believe we need to wait for the AOR first and then request them for updating such documents.
