Hi, I was just about to post a question related to this. I went on to ecas after getting my AOR and my mailing address was my old India address. I clicked the contact us button and followed the steps to get it changed. It has been at least 2 weeks so far and I went online today and my old mailing address is still present, even though they say it takes 5 business days to change. May I ask what your process was? I see yours now is blank, did that take long to happen from the time you contacted to change it? Or did you need to call them?

My mailing address is different from residential adrs and good to go , my residential address might change , should I change that or its ok, as mailing address matter , and if we get aor by email ,we should be setup for email correspondence

I'd change it just to be safe because further down the line you're expecting to have the Proof of Citizenship document mailed to you, which would be a bad time to find out (not that they can mail it to an address outside of Canada, but if it interfered with them sending it to you at all).
I'm hoping we'll start to see the early Nov applicants going to In process. I see a lot of October applicants were getting in process at the end of February.

Mehtab007 is correct - we should see the first week of November start to get theirs around the third week of March. The good thing is there aren't any public/federal holidays this month, so it should be a solid 22-odd days' worth of work for the IRCC.

Nowhere near an analyst like you... but... I just know this because, one of my friend who applied for her citizenship on May 25 2020, got AOR on October 29 2020...and the processing of her application started exactly after 5 weeks on December 03 2020 ,(Toronto location). So, I assume ours should not take longer than 5 weeks time.
Same here. I made the update on Feb 15th and the update is reflected today. I takes close to 3 weeks for the changes to reflect, i think. And like others, i see only one address. BTW, will they resend the discover canada book again to the correct address?
Was also hoping for a miracle ...to see the status move from Application Received to In Progress and Alas that was not the case. Only the address changed and the status did not.

I sent a request to update the mailing address on Feb 8 and do not see any change as yet. Hoping it will happen soon.
On a different note, the Discover Canada book is sent to us from an external vendor. The CRC does not mail it to us. When you place an order it re-directs you to a vendor site and you could put the courier address on there. You don't have to wait for the address to be updated or reflect correctly on your ECAS. I got mine days ago. Here is the link - https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals.html#ordering .
Hope this is helpful.
