Technically - it is open work permit with no employer specified. However I applied for PR with LMIA job offer, so I am stuck with my current employer until I receive PR :S

BOWP Applied: Feb 10
Approved Today
No update on the PR application though
Hi,
I am the spouse (outland; Indian citizen living in the US) of a PGWP holder. Currently, we have a PR application in process, which I believe is on hold due to COVID restrictions. My wife's WP expires in June 2021, and I have a few queries regarding that:
- Is there any difference between BOWP and PGWP extension under Public Policy, apart from the duration for which the WPs are issued? Should one be preferred over the other?
- Should I, the dependent, apply for only a TRV or is SOWP + TRV a better option? I don't have a job lined-up in Canada.
I'd appreciate any help regarding this. Thank you!

Question: Does anyone know when IRCC requests for Passport for TRV after BOWP is issued?
I think you only get a TRV if you apply for it (like if you want to leave Canada). If you are planning to stay a

Thanks. Yes, I did apply for it and that's why I was wondering why it did not come together with the TRV.
