After AOR (acknowledgment of receipt) can I apply for Bridging open work permit. Can i do 2 jobs or change employer after receiving BOWP. ???

However now I have to do work only for employer who issued me LMIA . Thanks in advance especially Miss Bee.

You can apply for BOWP after you get AOR. You will be on same WP condition until BOWP is approved. Once BOWP is approved, it is open work permit and can change employer

Hello folks. Can anyone help me. I wanna apply for my spouse’s open work permit. He is living in india. I want to apply for his open work permit based on “ spouses or common-law partners of provincial nominee class (PNC) applicants, the spouse or common-law partner is eligible for an open work permit for the duration of the work permit held by the principal PNC applicant, irrespective of the skill level of the principal PNC applicant’s occupation.” . I have bridging open permit. I don’t know how to get through eligibility questionnaire. Beacause there is no such option to select that the other person is a pnp holder. I am working on noc level c job. Please help if anyone know about this

CEC aor: Mar 27
applied for bowp (+dependents): Feb 2
approved: Mar 1

I applied for CEC _with_ Offer for 50 points. Then for BOWP answered 'has offer' - NO. Got the approval.
so this offer question is not really required for bowp.

If you are planning on using the job offer points, probably you want to stick with the employer. Otherwise you can change employer after receiving your new permit.

Hey guys, my BOWP got refused in early Jan, and I requested reconsideration, and after a long wait, they finally approved it today :)

Here's the full timeline just in case anyone is wondering:
BOWP Submitted: Oct 17th, 2020
BOWP Refused: Jan 5th, 2021
BOWP Reconsideration Request Submitted: Jan 5th, 2021
BOWP Application Re-opened: January 13th, 2021 (and they asked me to pay $100 open work permit fee which got refunded when they refused it, and upload the receipt as an additional document – I did it right away)
BOWP Application Approved: March 2nd, 2021
