Thank you!
Since I was a student & then worker in Canada (since 2015) before becoming PR, and became PR 2 years ago, I think I will need to submit PCC from birth country. Right?
Why do think so? The instructions in the link are clear, unless you read something else.

Question for you my friends, I just realized that I may have made a mistake. When they asked if I had filed my taxes for 2020, are they referring to the tax for the year 2019 filed in 2020 or the tax for the year 2020 filed in 2021?

Hi @engray- Instructions say
" You don’t need to provide a police certificate if
  • you were in your country of origin immediately prior to becoming a permanent resident and landing in Canada, and
  • this time falls within the past 4 years. "
You need to provide a police certificate from each country, other than Canada, if you were there

  • in the past 4 years
  • for 183 days or more in a row
  • since the age of 18
So for first point- I was already in Canada as a student prior to becoming PR, not in country of origin-India.
For second point- It was 6 years ago that I was in India before I moved to Canada.

so do we consider 4 years or since age 18?
so I think I should be providing PCC if they consider age 18? What do you think? I am confused lol

4 years , for 183 days and since age 18. So just count the last 4 years and only include the time that you were > 18 years

So either 4 years or since 18 years whichever is shorter/earlier. Since I am 30, I will not consider where time was spent in 12 years but last 4 years. Correct?
Sorry for that many questions, just want to be sure.

Took the test today. Passed 20/20. Read the book. Take practice tests on apnatoronto and richmond library again and again until you get perfect for all and you for sure will not fail. Do not forget to turn off notifications on your computer because if a pop up appears you might be accused of cheating. Good luck.
