What info do you provide in the email to authorize yourself?

Just put your file number in the subject line and sign your name at the bottom.
You are only asking for file location.

NOPE.
Someone ask from Signapore VO adn they said yes it will delay the file if we keep sending them an email.
Dont jinx mine. We try to refrain from saying the word DELAY on here.

Keyword is Keep. 1 email wont do anything...You lose your queue only when you piss them off.
Now I see why mine so smooth. In nine months I didnt email them or call them once.

If you guys refer to your AOR 2 email received from the London Visa Office, the last paragraph reads.
“When sending evidence, send it only once, preferably online or by email unless we specifically requested originals. Do not send additional documents or evidence we have not requested as this pulls away resources from processing. However, do gather and keep any additional evidence to have it ready if we need it”.
It’s pertaining to ADRs but considering the already low staffed visa offices, i would refrain from taking up any precious time officers get to work on our files. I also would love weekly updates, but it just makes sense. Just my two cents.
Thanks
Hi guys. My application was received by IRCC on March 3, 2020 and I received AOR in August 2020. After that Heard nothing from IRCC. Is this normal?
Guys what is the optimal visit period for a trv application approval? i.e. 1 month, 2 months, 3, 4, 5,6 ? Please guide me.

This is definitely not normal. You should call IRCC or raise a webform to inquire about the application. Applicants from Jan to June 2020 are done with their SA, BIL and Medicals and are waiting for their AOR2s.

IRCC told me that they are reviewing the application and documents submitted to determine if the sponsored person (the applicant) meets the eligibility requirements.
They dont tell me anything else at all. What do I do?
