AOR June 13, 2020, all the stages are passed since December 16. Called IRCC call centre last Friday and they told me everything is already been completed just waiting for that final decision

At least they are working on application with outland dependent. What is your VO ? Mine is Etobicoke AOR July 25th , only Criminality is passed , others are not started , nothing new since November which was the time I did biometric.

They need to grant you the authorization though, I have tried to get it for my daughter who has a valid visitor visa and they refused it saying is not essential.

This new rule looks good. I see that immediate family members do not need any special authorization to come to Canada. They still need to obtain Canadian visa and have immediate family member who is citizen or PR. In my case once I receive PR here my wife and daughter should be able to join me. The problem that this does not work for us until I become PR. I have been waiting 11 months with my EE CEC application and 18 months with my paper based OINP stream. No COPR so far.

We tried in October 2020 with that very mentioned family reunification ground. Just once these rules have been implemented. Refused both for me and my kids. With the most disgusting reason - the purpose of travel. Ircc is killing families, not reuniting.

I booked a bio-metric appointment for my wife in Mumbai through VFS web form. I didn't receive the appointment confirmation date yet. Any one with the same situation? Did anyone receive the appointment date yet?

I did receive the email from VFS that my request for bio-metric appointment is acknowledged and they will soon send the appointment date.

I'll tell you even better. AOR Jan 2020, everything passed Sept 2020, still no decision lol. Its been "waiting for final decision" since Sept 2020

In my case I am the primary applicant inside Canada. My application for PR was approve last year May 2020 but my outland dependent up to now did not receive his copr and passport request. So frustrating..

I don’t know what’s going on behind those closed doors. These people don’t understand the level of stress they are imposing on us with this process
