My timeline is similar and we have the same problem!! We are applying for FSW --- they are prioritizing CEC now. I don't know if they can tell apart FSW inland from outland in their filter. I believe they will only get back to FSW after all this COVID situation. Too sad, but that is what is happening
Hi Folks,

was wondering the same - not sure how much of a difference it would make to the processing time (if at all) since many of us in this thread are stuck at the same stage.
Generally everyone raise a webform to ask for the status and Agent will respond in common template. When you mention that your file is delaying and request to add a note for officer then agent must to add a note. When a note is added then officer has to open your file to see what the note is. From my experience I can say it worked for me.

@SandeepCanada (cant seem to quote and reply to your original post) Okay, I’m willing to try anything at this point. What did you ask/include in the note to the officer?

I just explain the timeline and scenario of my application. I asked to take a look as the delay isi increasing my expenses in terms of BOWP,TRV and also medical is going to expire and during this covid situation it is hard and risky for re-medical.

I will appreciate if members on this platform can kindly help me out. I had a child from my previous marriage. We separated since 2014 but not legally divorced. When I first applied for PR in 2018, I made every effort to get in touch with her so that she can submit herself and our child for medical, however all efforts yielded no result as nobody knew their whereabout. My mum who resides in the same country with her also made efforts, she visited her last know address several times without being able to see her. As a result, I missed the 60 days period to respond to my ITA. Meanwhile, before I enter the pool again, I filed for divorce through my lawyer and also traveled home to attend the court proceeding. Although she was summoned to appear before the court through a writ of summon sent to her know address unfortunately, she neither show up nor sent a representation. However, the court entered its judgement in her absence and declared our marriage dissolved. The custody of the child was awarded to her because their whereabout was unknown.
So when I re-applied again in 2020, I included my child in the application and indicated that she is an “unaccompanied dependant”. To proof this, I submitted the following documents:
LOE detailing efforts made to secure her consent and make them available for medical without success and which lead to my inability to complete online application form for PR in 2018.
Sworn Affidavit by my Mum that states her efforts to help me locate their whereabout without success.
Notarize Statutory declaration to exclude my child and surrender my right to sponsor her in the future.
Certified true copy of the judgment that dissolved our marriage and awarded the child custody to my ex-spouse.
Now I got a mail from IRCC requesting our child for medical again after 10 months of my application.
@legalfalcon and others please, how do I respond to this mail? Somebody needs HELP!

@SandeepCanada, just to confirm, you submitted a webform or you spoke to the agent over the phone? When did you do this? Just curious because I've heard webforms are not being answered or taking more than 4 weeks to receive a generic reply.
