The thing is,it’s extremely hard to find jobs in rural communities and the pandemic has made it even harder.

Right now they have entry level jobs posted that can give PR. The reason they had started this rural program is because those villages didn't have enough applications. They want the community to grow. So the area has tied up with cic to offer jobs which can lead to Pr. Did you check the website?

By any chance is your family income enough to apply for direct PR? If it, they want you to apply through the other programs for PR.

Call centre. When our application went into process I called. I also just ordered GCMS notes to if there has been any progress.

That is NOT a reasonable advice! Asylum is Not the answer to everything and it’s not as easy as you think.This will even make it harder for her to be with her son since there’s no reason that justifies asylum seeking.

Immigration says anything to get money out of people’s pocket! It’s a small community and they hardly have jobs.I used to live in one and it was not the best

No! PRRA will only come in when asylum/appeals fail.when you seek asylum,it gives you some sort of status.Whereas PRRA Just buys you time
