Don't worry about CSQ, it remains valid till your PR application is finalized.
You don't need to renew csq for owp public policy or anything similar.
Do you have some travel history outside your home country and Canada?

If you haven't started your PR paperwork yet and if you don't have a preference for the province of Quebec for some reason, I'd suggest you to take a look at PR programs from other provinces.

I do not mean to demotivate you, but given Quebec is known for suddenly changing laws and affecting people who have already started/submitted their immigration paperwork. Thus, I consider the QC immigration system unstable and I thought it'd only be fair to warn you. That said, good luck with your paperwork.
yes absolutely, howvever any guidelines what is needed if a student applied for PR in quebec? is it required to finish the program and then have an employer?

Hello, we have received our official AR and biometrics request. Our application is for 3 (2 adults and 1 child of 2 years old), however, we received biometrics request for 2 adults only. I would like to know why we did not received the request for our child, i.e. normally biometrics is not required for children, or we missed something in our application. Thank you!
Biometrics is for all foreign nationals between the ages of 14 and 79.

Hi guys,

I'm a October 2018 applicant.
This is my situation.

  1. We received your application for permanent residence on September 4, 2018.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on October 30, 2018.
  3. We started processing your application on October 30, 2018.
  4. We sent you medical instructions on January 29, 2020.
  5. Medical results have been received. February 14, 2020 - Medical Passed
  6. I got a ghost update on December 2020, but application is still in progress.
  7. Contacted my local MP on February 11th 2021, and he told me that all verifications are now completed, and I should hear from IRCC within a month.
If I don't he advised that I contact his office again.
My application was started in Canada, but later was moved to Manila because I temporarily moved to Korea. I've returned in 2019, but my application is still being processed in Manila. I contacted IRCC from Canada, but they can't give me any information regarding my application since it's being processed from outside of Canada.

Total wait time : 28months

If anybody has any information on what to do, please let me know. Cheers!
Hello,
I'm a July 2018 appliant, and did medical in 2020-02 whitch was expired a few days ago.
May I know if you recieved a pre-arrival letter? I didn't recieve it yet. I am in 32months.
I applied inland and then go outland in 2019. No news for more than one year.
I feel very upset. I don't if I will be rejected for some reason. :(

If you hold a PGWP I will recommend you to apply for an extension under the policy. About the CSQ you don't need to worry about that.

A person heard from their lawyer that the 2018 applications for QSWP were all made on paper. These papers are in the IRCC office and cannot be accessed by the agents because they are working from home. Many of the applications are being scanned so that agents can evaluate them remotely. This is why things have slowed down.

Sounds credible to me, so I thought I'd share.
Well, it my gcms notes, it's mentioned that my scanning was done in August 2020

you are the only one i know here who did this process recently, thanks for the updates.... what did you do to obtain a new CSQ ? did you contact MIFI at all ?
My partner is Canadian so I just needed to inform them of the update in status. It's been over 3 weeks and still no reply from the webform though!
