I agreed the cost is little high overall that includes work permit/visitor extension/H&C till PR, but just let to you know CCB for 6 months is over $8000 if you`re on low income, hiring a lawyer with low fee and keeping an application on hold for another 6 months make no difference. End of the day it will be same thing

No he was not deported his laywer did something and its stop for now actually he have canadian wife and a daughter and his spouse sponsor is in process laywer did some deffer to buy him some time and he can get his approval through that

Prepare yourself for the worst hope for the best . H&C applications is not 100% guaranteed. If a application is processed quickly is not always a good sign

@M0527 hi there, I applied for CCB . It’s been 6 weeks . When I go to the app it shows the date , March 19th 2021 , the amount , and says EXPECTED. I don’t see anything else . Did u got an approval letter ? How long did it take u to get the first check ?

Same happen to me. I called last week and speak with and agent who told me that on March 19th, I will received a letter from CRA regarding the total amount they will pay me and how they calculate it.
