It was weird actually. I opened up GCkeys and saw a fairy about two inches high, dressed in link holding a pre arrival letter. Then stupid me I blinked for a a secomd and it was gone. I realized then it was a firy update. My wife informed me fairies dont exist.
I do know the obvious there are two moons. When its night in China we receive the moon and than about 12 hours later Canada gets another moon. Amazing world, eh.

Coincidences happen - At December 31 2020, there was a backlog of more than 10,400 files from 2019 that needed to be processed that should've been completed by year-end 2020. Of course some of those people are going to get PPR eventually.
If you wish to believe in the coincidence and be optimistic, feel free - but please don't mislead people here into false promises because it only hurts more when dreams get dashed. Provide the whole story (i.e. there's no proof anonymous emails do anything and that historically CIC hasn't done anything to expedite a file based on emails). That's all I suggest.

I go to the news and CIC for information, not random whatsapp groups that have no evidence.
In this specific case I referenced two things.
1. CIC press release in Oct 2020 saying their goal is to finish the majority of Spouse Sponsor applications by year-end by completing 6,000 applications per year
2. CBC News Investigation that revealed that despite the promise of 6,000 per month they only completed 7,600 total across the three months. Leaving at least 10,400
So of course some of these people are getting PPRs, some of whom I'm in contact with and have definitely not sent any emails to LVO about their files.
Moral of the story - fact check and don't believe everything you see on this forum or whatsapp or facebook. Lots of optimistic people that are seeing coincidences that may not apply to you.
Some are, where an agent has updated the file on their back-end and it reflects on the front-end user interface but most are technical glitches or system updates that don't mean much. Unfortunately, I am unable to tell the difference between the real/fake ones.
Disclaimer: Although I've worked in similar positions and with similar systems I haven't worked directly with the software at CIC so my experience may be different.
Could just mean that your file has been moved from Case Analyst to assessing officer or that they've added results from a criminal record check to your file. Nothing to worry about.
