hi,
I am new to this forum. I read lots of post on this forum. its very helpful.
so my concern is I applied for Paper base PR application under provincial nominee. and my work permit was expired before few month ago.
I have not chance to get extended it. So my lawyer apply for restoration as visitor.
Since i am not working from few month it will affect my PR process? is there any chance of rejection in PR if i am not working and restore my status as visitor?
What PNP stream? I really believe that most (or all) of them require you to be working. To be honest your question is so vague. When did you apply? Was your WP expired before you applied? Did it expire after your application was delivered to IRCC? When did your application arrive at IRCC office?
But the main question is: since you have a lawyer, why do you come here to ask? Honestly, I think that if you are paying for a lawyer, he/she should be able to provide you more reliable information than the people here...
That's encouraging. I think they used the long weekend to migrate certain set of profiles between their internal servers (my guess, that's all). Will know more tomorrow if ECAS updates. I don't think the phone lines will be free. The 27k CEC folks who are on high this whole weekend will occupy the phone lines for sure
Correct you can’t make EE profile if paper application is already linked to GCkey, however it is possible to create EE profile by registering GCkey account with a new email address I believe
@Uravashi yes you are correct (partially). @td88 one can only apply for Bridge Open WP only if there are no employment conditions on the nomination. If the employer name/anything is mentioned in the box "Restrictions on Employment", BOWP will not be issued. Only a closed WP will be issued. If there are no restrictions and the candidate has PR AoR, then they can go for Open WP.
28 Aug 2020? Then its a lonnnnnngggg way to go. Relax. If its Aug 2019, then I will cry as well, on your behalf. State is shutdown still (I guess opening tomorrow) and Ottawa CPC is slow even on a Green Day, let alone a COVID day.

Great . Then my suggestion is to close everything and relax (because there is nothing much to do). If you are outland, relax more atleast until Oct 2021. I dont think you will see any movements anytime soon anyways. I hope I am wrong. Lot of other parameters decide this, other than Ontario - your nationality (India etc are generally processed slow), how many applicants (more the slower), inland/outland (inlands faster nowadays), number of PCCs (more the slower) etc. If a Jan 2020 (almost Dec 2019) AR like me gaveup, you should too
