After getting the email that it was sent nothing from them but according to my mp they are working on the file she talks to lvo for me. However we send in updates to immigration on our own without being asked too as well we hope staying ontop of everything before they asks helps us out.

Updated chat/call logs, documents from doctors and lawyers, more pictures, pictures of our presents we send to each other. He is redoing his criminal record check and once that’s done we will send that and probably and updated version of who he lives with. I watch to see what everyone else has been asked for and I started gathering those up and sending in. I figured if they have it it’s less likely for them to ask for it again.

Is it better to send ADR before being asked to?
The usual (communication proof, updated travel, schedule A, security)
I know people that provided ADR regularly and their spouses came within 11 months, obviously pre covid!
Can somebody with expertise or anybody who has knowledge about this chime in on this.
Thanks
To add on, I’m only imagining - once a file gets touched and ADR is required, it gets asked for. What if the file gets its turn and documents are already updated. Would it just skip the ADR process (2months)

If they have your information then they won’t have to ask for ADR. I have only been watching Twitter/fb and these visa threads and I noticed who gives updates voluntarily do seem to get processed quicker but this is my observation. For my husband and I we see it anything is worth a try. All we can do is try every avenue to see what works I’ve sent over 60 letters to members of parliament. I don’t know to much about immigration I just try everything and see what happens.
