Latest draw for express entry was 75 and some of us are still waiting for AOR from 7 months. I think it’s good idea to create your profile in express entry as there will be another draw with low scores . Good to keep another profile active while waiting for paper based application.

I think some paper based applicant got invitation. if they withdraw their application , paper based application may process fast as a huge no of invitation (27000 plus).

As I told you paper based application is different and express entry application is different. You can have both at same time . You don’t need to withdraw any.
I did the same . 2 applications are going on at same time.
Paper based : Medical passed on Jan15, 2021,
EE AOR : Oct 21, 2020 :no update after ADR submission.
So you can try both... why not!’?
Sorry for my hesitation, it's only because if I apply for the PR thr EE now, I'm gonna spend $2650 (me and my wife), $150 for RCMP again, and $300 for criminal check in my home country, so over $3000, in result, I will get $1000 refund but lose $2000. For some, $2000 is not much, but for us, $2000 is a 1-month salary.. So working for 30 days for nothing... we don't have much money at this moment because we still have to pay for rental and food and even harder in the pandemic time (tentatively Laid-off)...
Holy Shit, cut off score 75, 27,333+ iTA just has been sent off. I received iTA too, should I decline iTA to give the chance to other people, or should i apply EE and keep a paper-based one simultaneously? i hope they also speed up paper-based too.

Yes, it is for us as a family of 4 too. But having PR give us peace in our mind to move forward. Luckily, i did the all the checks one time to apply for both applications, just waste about another $2k for tprocessing fees.
but we will get there eventually hopefully as your timeline is same as mine. We already got the medical passed in Jan 2021! Looking for the best to come VERY SOON!
