I just saw that too, they still can't clear a couple thousand backlog from from last year and they will now process 27000 applications.

If someone was 50 y/o, with only a HS degree and 1 year of (Canadian) work experience, with good English or French they would qualify for this draw.

Hopefully they speed up the process by hiring extra staff, considering that they're dying to get more immigrants.

If you are still working for same employer and had more experience added since you have applied than you can get another letter. But if you haven’t worked at that job thn old one should be fine without changing any dates. Coz it’s past experience so.

I think they are preparing for long time travel restrictions (till end of 2021) and they have to get the immigration programs going to meet at least part of the targeted immigration numbers.
