To be honest the amount of money IRCC is collecting, they should not be short of employees to expedite the process. Relaxation in biometric that are valid is a step in the right direction, however still processing time is way too long. One thing that is really of discomfort is outland COPR holders are unjustifiably impacted by travel ban, on the other hand international students are allowed to travel. No logic at all. But its evident COPR holders have already paid the fees so less of a priority, but international students if not allowed will withdraw and Canadian institutions will lose millions and its impact on Canadian economy will be negative. So here we are with two standards. Just a thought.
Thats good.. I've been trying to call them (0800 in the morning!) and the call gets cut because "they have too many people on the line". Just how did you contact them?
Does anybody know if AoR is required to obtain implied status? Immigration has confirmed my paper based application was received, but it has not begun processing and I do not have an AoR to date (AR July 25). Will i need to stop working until i have an AoR? or does implied status begin as of the AR date?

Did you already applied for another work permit before your current one expired? If yes you have implied status. What kind of work permit you applied for ? If yes
