So I called the IRCC helpline today as my case has been delayed a lot. I applied in June and for decision made in OCT but there was no update. I called them today and was told that my card has been posted out on 31 Dec to local IRCC office and they will send an appnt email to collect the card from office as they need to verify identify. So any idea when will the contact as it has been a few weeks already keeping in mind that my card was sent to them on 31dec and say they got it in 2 weeks. Thanks.
Same situation here. Applied in April from Vancouver and decision was made in OCT but nothing happens. I used the web form twice and they told me to wait for contact.

Have you guys ever had any special issues? Too many trips to other countries? Too many stamps in different languages in your passports? Ever asked you for entry/exit reports? Or if you stayed in Canada less than 2 years in the past 5 years? Anything that you think might make them over sensitive to have more checks on your identity?

I do have quite a lot of stamps. But I pretty sure I stayed more than 2 years because I received an email confirmation through the web form, confirmed my application is approved. But not receiving the actual card is making me panic. Any idea what is happening?

This is most probably due to the many trips you have had in the last 5 years, I saw lots of cases where they were asked to provide entry/exit report, or send complete sworn translation of all their valid/expired passports, all pages (anything that covers the last 5 years). Seems the more trips you had, the more they will investigate (of course not always, and this is not a rule).
