TRV From Inside Canada - Normal Processing Time Has Passed

Trv applied on 11th November. Still no update. Biometric is not required as on workpermit .biometric is valid until 2025. Now almost 3 months . Before always got trv in 2 or 3 days but this time . No hope

I applied on Nov 4th; and January 8th I called and they said my passport was expired. However, my passport was extended and I clearly mentioned that in the notes, now they said I should hear back soon.

I applied on 12th November 2020 and I have not received my PPR yet but I need to travel to India next week for family emergency. I don't understand what to do?

Omg really? I have also an emergency, but I am not going back home without the PPR paper. I am afraid I will be stuck over there.

if it is urgent, dont cancel trip..there is no point in waiting here..you dont know when they will reply
i m firm to go ..i will mention them and leave..it is their duty to reply back in time..why we should stress out.

I agree, but still I am afraid to leave without PPR request paper. It is crazy how long should we await without a feedback.

situation is same everywhere..my PR applocation under Express Entry is in similar situation and so for others...covid has messed up everything..

Today I submitted passport for stamping in india. I got ppr request on 27th January inside canada.And Based on my reason i got letter cic stating u can stamp in india if you wish to. And they sent formal letter on my cic account. Later I submitted that letter and passport request to Vfs india

Do I know, how did you approach to Vfs, what letter you submitted and where did you send the passport for stamping. Also is it through courier only? Would appreciate your reply as many of us need to know. Thank you!

I get a reply from IRCC, if I want to travel emergency, then need to submit proof+ my destination so they can transfer my file, but unfortunately I sent my passport on Jan 14, so I said I need passport here, cause already waited for 22+ days !!
