She definitely needs CSQ for her husband, no doubt about it. Even my kids have CSQ and they are minors. When you sponsorship someone you apply to the federals first and after that they will ask you to apply for CSQ.
what is the process then ? all is mentioned in the Guide7000 for QSWP PR applicants is to inform the federal gov./IRCC whenever your status changed ...how to apply for another CSQ ?

Congratulations. Was your medical extended or you did re-med? Are you in any exemption list? Share more info about AL webform. Thankyou.
Thank you.
Our medical extended and we did not re-med. Yes, we are on the exemption list because our CoPR issued before 18 March 2020.
I sent a webform before the passport request and did not receive any answer.

I just have one family member with me in Canada, my wife. IMO it is almost impossible to find a pattern in what the IRCC does, so I've stopped trying. But I have noticed that single applicants do tend to get their applications processed faster - maybe just a coincidence.

My previous GCMS notes suggest there's a deadline to my "security" step, i.e. Feb 7, 2021. However, I think it's just bull poop because I assume there's no way they'd suddenly finish my security check in a few days.

One more theory I have is that they don't tell us the status of security screening on purpose. This might make sense to a certain degree because if the applicant is indeed a dangerous person and they find out that they are under a security screening, they might leave Canada. However, it's just a theory. The truth is a mystery.

I wish they prioritize inland applicants soon. Good luck to all of us.
I have a question. I applied to PR when I was still in Canada and then I went back to my home country (PEQ application). Do you think I am still considered inland applicant. I still have work permit and I can return anytime.

Don't assume thing for people you don't know.
My theory was in general and I wasn't talking about anyone in particular. However, since I have unintentionally offended you, I choose to apologize.

...the only crime I committed was to wait on stop sign 2 seconds less that I'm supposed.
Damn! That sounds like bad luck :( Lucky for me I don't like cars or driving. However, one day, I almost got a ticket for crossing the road on a red light.

Do you think that a real criminal will apply for PR? Check your theory!
Having watched all episodes of Border Security: Canada's Front Line, and similar shows from the UK, US, and Australia, all I can say is that everything is possible. Many people knowingly/unknowingly misrepresent in their applications, sometimes, along with fake documentation to support them. My message was more about such people.

Reminds me of a 94 year old German man whose citizenship was revoked and he was sent back to his country because he had lied in his documents. It turned out that used to be in the Nazi army.

Check your theory!
Thinking aloud, I have one more theory: inland applicants who will lose their status within the next few months are prioritized. I have a friend whose permit was going to expire in Jan 2021 (single, French national) and surprisingly they got their PR in Dec 2020.

No idea, bro. IMO it should be treated as inland if you continue to have a Canadian address on your file.

As a matter of fact, a similar question has been bothering me. My Indian address changed last year so I thought I'd let them know. I wrote to them saying, "I'm not sure if I need to report this to you, so I'm just letting you know." After that message, they updated my home address to my Indian address. I contacted them 2 months ago to tell them that it was not my intention to update my address. I was just letting them know about it because that new address now appears on my new passport. Haven't heard back from them yet. But I wonder if they've been treating me as an outland applicant. No idea.

Funny story!! The issue is that they didn't request biometrics yet from me even though I notified them of the change of address just after AOR. Maybe this is just the corresponding address that they are changing! In fact on the border last year during a visit an officer told me to put a resident of canada on the paper we fill on arrival because I still have a work permit! I think what does matter is the program not the current address. maybe this is why they didn't bother to respond to your clarification.

This theory did not apply to me. My work permit expired after almost 24 months I was waiting for the PR. I also asked them, if I had any chances to have the PR before renewing, but nothing.
