Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2019

My mother has been on supervisa for last more than a year and have already got her biometric done just before she travelled from India to Canada, so completed her medical formalities and passport submission for stamping here in Calgary. Immediately after she got her COPR and PR visa there were land border restrictions in place so she couldnt travel to the border for completing her landing formalities and her COPR got expired. Still the border doesnt seem to be open for atleast another one year so in that case what are the options available? If someone is in the same situation please advise me

When did the COPR expire? They have done virtual landing since mid of 2020. Call CIC to discuss.

i got the GCMS notes after a month, since the people who read my updates know my father passed away and my mother is the main applicant . Now the noets on that are like.

change of PA due to death of PA and now my mother's name is there.

Last comment is on file from Jan 8.2021- File is ready for processing ,continue processing when in queue. Now any idea how long that would be before it gets pick up?

Not sure about pick up but once processing starts, it will take couple of months to finalize pr.

You should call 888-242-2100 to know the status of pr card. Also link it on GCKEY account.

Complete is on ecas once your parents landed on 8th Oct. When you applied for PR card, after that you should link pr card application to your Gckey account. Same way as you linked pr application on GCKEY account. Once it is linked it will show the status.

Pre-arrival letter 20 08-2020

Still no COPR letter or request for passport. Visa office is Pretoria, South Africa. We are now more than 20 month along the line, but no action since August. Is there any way to speed this up? Our daughter is a teacher, and her youngest has not been well, we are NEEDED in Canada!! Feeling rather discouraged!

Pr cards are still not here I am not sure which number shall I contact

and what about health cards? the 3 months waive period still in act? they had coverage from the landing day?

It says 21 Months upon receipt of application. My sponsorship application is coming to 21 Months now and still no progress.

You should pls 1-1,5 year from now to complete application. Many applicants got sponsor approval still in stuck. Unfortunately you still are not in process of sponsor stage.

Hey I just linked my PR card application ( different with application) you should try if you are not linked it yet. Pls read thread above to enter correctly. It was very tricky for me lol

Medical Passed: Dec 2019
Additional Docs requested: Jan 2020
Medical Expired: Dec 2020

No news or update from CPC-M since Jan 2020 !

Did anyone have any luck contacting IRCC regarding application status ?

I contact ircc yesterday and they told me that they extend the medical of parents as my parents medical expire in jan 2021. the decision for PA is still in process.

i have received email from cic that they are reviewing the RCMP fingerprint doc they requested in oct 2020, and called cic, agent mentioned that the background and security have been completed today after review, however my ecas still says the Background check is in progress, and under additional documents, it says we are reviewing your document with todays date.
Also i received another email with pre-arrival services letter,
Application date: June 10, 2019
Medical : Jan 2020
RCMP: Oct 2020

but its great sign that something moved today.
Now not sure if the PPR is coming soon.

Hey my file was June 6 2019 and everything is done except background check. They extended the medicals so we didnt have to get it done again. I had called them last month and was told the background check is going on. Its weird since we had done medicals, biometrics and pcc in dec 2019 and since then its background check going on. Not sure how long it will take. My visa office is cpc-m
