No. Times have changed and less is more. I am NOT going to send anything additional unless I'm asked for it. But I have the documents ready and if I'm asked, I can respond and send them all those documents in the next 5 minutes. But I won't be sending it to them unless asked for.

When I checked my application status today on CIC. It is showing that as In Process. I didn't receive any AOR. Is this Normal?

Please take a look at the 2020 tracker in my signature. Only two Jan 2020 applicants have received the test invite from the tracker.

Currently, a rather large number of October 2019 applicants are receiving test invites.

It is going to take a while before we receive ours so we'll have to patiently wait until then.

I applied with my two family members in Aug 2020 and the remaining family members in Sep 2020.

You can see my name in both Aug/Sep tabs in the sheet.

This status change is for Aug applicants.

Please remove the status change in Sep and update in August. Thanks

After a long time without news, I decided to call IRCC to get the application number. For my surprise, no AOR was issued on my Aug 25th doc, but my spouse's, who was sent the same day, had an AOR sent on Jan 18th (even though we never received it). It's really upsetting to think the price we pay isn't cheap and that our applications take this long, even with COVID.
