Hi guys I just called cic today regarding my application its says on progress and they don't need any requirements my vo is nova Scotia. He said the results may come soon cuz I was worried my working permit expire this june.

Very Ture. The Canadian PR wait period is nothing compared to the ridiculous Green Card wait times. I think I can wait for 4 more months as compared to my GC wait time which is 30 years.

Hi guys, I haven't got any updates in my account since I did my bio. My AOR is 24 Nov. I currently lack a Hong Kong police certificate which is under process by the HK police force. HK police require an official letter for the certificate, so I was not able to provide it when AOR. After AOR the IRCC sent me the letter, so the certificate is now under process.

Will this greatly postpone my PR application? I am a bit concerned.

According to this think-tank, wait for Indians for GC is 150 years. This report was from 2018, but I dont think there has been any decrease in the figures.

Yes, my bar is back too, but that status bar seems useless to me as it just counts the number of days lapsed from the date of AOR and consider a standard processing time of 6 months.

Keep checking this page. As of now, PR applicants cannot give biometrics in India, no idea when they will be allowed to. Latest update was for "returning" students and workers on January 20th. Some people are going to Dubai and even to Nepal to give their biometrics.

Book an appointment in Nepal. Its economical as compared to Dubai. I had my biometrics done on 22nd Jan it was smooth. If not wait till March for VACs to accept PR applicants.

Jan is over and even if VACs will start enrollment of biometrics for PR in Feb beginning most probably the slots would be last week of Feb or early March. As currently their priority is Study permit and family class.

In Feb 2021 most of us would be in our 3rd month after aor and an update is ought to come by then. Usually for EE applicants updates happen within 2.5 to 3 months after AOR or MEP BIL
