mine is October 19th app received by ircc.
Pa in India
Got temp number by calling them on December 17th.
Agent told me that they are doing criminality check.I don’t get it.
no aor1 yet and they are already doing criminal checks

thats strange! Didnt you ask the agent about the aor??
why do they have a temporary number if they are checking criminal records? Doesnt make any scene.

I asked him. He said they are not suppose to talk about it.

That is so strange. These are our lives and they are not supposed to tell us very basic information?

called this week. File received in 09/04, got a temp file number. Mailed from USA. They told us they did not begin my app. I should wait at most 2 months to receive some updates. They scanned our documents soon when they arrived at the NS. The officer has different speed at home.

Called today. File received at Sydney NS Sep 18 2020, got a 'prospective' number, starting with xf followed by 9 digits after. Was informed that if the AOR goes through they'll drop the x and keep the rest of the number. I am the sponsor, the PA is from the USA.

Hello! While waiting for my final answer which will probably take a while, are we able to apply for our spouse as a visitor, if he can apply with a visitor visa and come to Canada and then can we wait together for a final answer? Is this a thing can I do this

Hi! I am also Sept 4th Outland. I got a temporary file number but is starts with XS. most of the people are getting XF temporary file numbers. Does it matter??
