Aw, yeah. Your case is somewhat of a mystery to me. I really don’t see any potential red flags or hurtles for you. Kind of mind boggling why one like yours is taking so long.

Hi, Many of the members of this forum are facing this issue, but i appreciate your confidence that you shared, what you are facing these days.
Yes, this visa process is very tough time and only those can understand who are facing it.
i too spent a hell time when my spouse was living in Canada and i in Pakistan. i know its very difficult to talk to each other when you have nothing to say. last year, due to pandemic delay, i asked my wife to come back to Pakistan and live with me. we together, took this decision and now she is living with me in Pakistan. we can rely on Visa officers, they can't feel our pain. Canadian visa is totally bull shit.
asking your spouse to come here in Pakistan and live with you till visa granted, it vary from case to case. But these Canadians always praise to Canada that its a wonderful country and there are a lot of job opportunities. why don't they leave their current job and come here in Pakistan till visa grant. After that find another job in that Heaven Land, when reached back.

I (Canadian citizen) have submitted outland sponsorship PR application for my wife (Pakistani citizen, lives in Pakistan) and it was received at CPC Sydney on Dec 31 2020 - no AOR yet and I am assuming it will take at least a year (assuming they're getting back on track after the initial delay due to COVID) for the PR visa. I wanted to apply for her TRV so she can visit me in Canada in the meantime but have concerns about refusal due to following issues:
- She is a housewife and has no job, but she owns some investments (worth few million rupees) in Pakistan and her immediate family (parents, siblings) live there - is that enough for proof of ties back home?
- If I am inviting her (include a letter of invitation with the TRV application), does she still have to show her financial assets or can I just show mine, explain that I will be responsible for her finances and that will suffice for the TRV?
- How do you 'declare' dual intent (since her sponsorship PR application is already submitted) on a TRV application? Will it improve chances of the TRV application being accepted?
- IRCC's website mentions the processing time for tourist visa on the website (updated last week) from Pakistan as 445 DAYS(!!). That is longer than the processing time for spouse PR on the website! so if I submit TRV now I should expect a decision to be made by summer 2022? Or does it mean something else? I thought tourist visa decisions before COVID were made in a month or two - maybe twice as long now due to COVID. If it really is taking a year and a half now, is it worth it even applying or should I just wait for the PR visa?
Thanks, it has been difficult - we have been away from each other for a year now since I'm studying in Canada and she's in Pakistan.
unfortunately, no one can accurately assess your chances, except for the visa officer. I also have bank deposit and a large apartment in my sole property, so they understand that I cannot leave it all at home on a tourist visa. but most of all, I think it mattered, that I have been waiting for 26 months, and 1 year ago I received a pre-arr. letter, that is, my case was nearing completion, but the lockdown in London broke everything. but you risk nothing by trying to apply for TR visa, only 100 CAD

Its true Canada is like a safe heaven on earth guys but try to understand. If we miss Canada then there is noting wrong with that...its too much different then PAKISTAN...ones you reach there..then you will know the diffrences... Honestly being sponsored will give you all the legal Permanent Residence RIGHTS as others being born or living there for ages even before you guys land in that country....so why you get upset if this process is taking longner...other categories asked you for so many things such as age, education, IELTS Exams and Financial things...so just be patience and trust me we all will get the PR at the end soon Inshaallah...why you guys get so negative if a Canadian say nice things about Canada? I don't think you understand their perspective....I am a Canadian citizen wife living here in Pakistan with my husband since January 2019 and that's when we applied for our case..we still has nothing so far.....i travelled only 2 times since...but as i never lived in Pakistan before in my life...i am very shocked and disappointed..i miss Canada but i love to safe my marriage.. .i think it all depends on personal choice but don't worry everything will be fine soon. Inshallah. please pray we all get to live with health and happiness together with our loved ones soon. Ameen.

No need to be happy, my one friend told me that LVO will not be issuing any ppr till July 2021 due to new corona virus in UK...so prayer time my friend that’s it
Rizwan Khan, please stop spreading your rumor on Facebook and everywhere else.
To know this kind of information, one has to either be friend of IRCC officer or friend of Minister of Immigration.
Why would LVO keep giving out ADR request if they are halting PPR process, but everyday more and more ppl got ADR.

Canada only has jobs in very limited specific fields, all other people are slaves in Heaven Land. I personally knew a few Indians and Paks that moved back home after spend 3 years in Heaven Land working their asses off.

yes its true only those moved who has whole family in Pakistan come back....but honestly to survive in Canada everyone needs to upgrade their education and skills....its the country that really teach you reality of life, practically and proper use of our time....in Pakistan people relax alot and even in Europe people have evenings free so life in North America including Canada is very busy and TIME Management. Guys enjoy life as COVID teach me only onething...
HEALTH IS EVERYTHING!!! Stay positive and healthy guys, i don't wanna go into depression because LVO is not working....i think they are working and just testing our relationship chemistry

Thanks, but how do I mention that the answer is continuing on another page on the form itself?
Do I attach all additional pages at the end or right after the form?
I have seen PM Trudeau's tweet wherein he said that New Restrictions are going to be imposed very soon. Will it affect on process of Applications?
