I came to Canada 2017.. claimed asylum with negative decision, Appeal failed, judicial review failed. Then I applied for H&C May 2020. Just like I said I did the H&C application myself because of my previous experience with 2 different lawyers. Although I took my time to write a reasonable memorandum to back up my application... I own a home and good skill job, hardship at home country, interest of children, I am hopping for positive decision.. just curious although, thanks guys

Process start- August 2020

AIP received – September 2020

Medical Instruction – October 2020

Medical received – October 2020

All related documents submitted – First week of November 2020

COPR received - January 20, 2021

Wow, so long wait, another example from 2018 submission. Your wait was even longer than ours. I can only imagine how hard it has been. Congrats!

Finally!!! Congratulations!!
And as for your SIN,you just simply walk into service Canada with your COPR and they will issue your permanent SIN number to you!

When we went there back in November it was highly recommended to have an appointment because of Covid. I assume it us even more important today. Just call them up and ask for an appointment.
