There is a glitch in the portal. When you originally sign in, it asks for a declaration that you are in Canada, followed by entering your address and uploading a photograph. When I logged in 10 minutes ago to check the status, it made me do the declaration again. Not sure why but it happened to a friend of mine also. Anyone else experiencing the same?

Hi

I travelled to india due to some personal reasons on 20 dec 2020 and got my pr portal email on 21 dec 2020. So currently i am outside canada.

I replied them with the information on 22 dec 2020.

But have not heard back from them.

Can someone guide me what to do next.
I am coming back to canada on 1 april 2020.

So should i come early ?

If check the trends (based on posts in this forum), most eCOPRs are received within 4-5 weeks of receiving the the login credentials to the PR confirmation portal. So when you get your eCOPR while claiming you currently reside in Canada, you’re technically have “landed” as your PR status is confirmed. Can IRCC delay sending you the portal login credentials until you return to Canada in April?

I saw this tweet that your other TRVs will get cancelled once you’ve been confirmed as a Canadian PR.

. This was in 2018, not sure if there’s any recent changes, wait for others to confirm. And you need a valid visa to travel to Canada.

My work visa is valid till 14 april 2022

So i can enter canada anytime.

But the thing is i am coming back on 1 april. So i hope they will not cancel my file or something if i come after 2 months.

I’m not talking about IRCC cancelling your PR file, but your TRV when you get your eCOPR. And you need a valid visa to enter Canada. Can they delay sending your login credentials until you return to Canada? Cause once you get the login credentials, you have 14 days to upload your photo and confirm your Canadian address. Then it’s just waiting game for your eCOPR issuance.

I am not sure if they will delay sending my login credentials till i come back. I am confused in this.

In the portal yiu have to declare that you are in canada. So you cannot do that since you will be lying. So you cannot get ecopr until you are back...

Those who waiting for login credentials since Jan 6th, does your agent id in the mail start with TT19xxx ? I am trying to find whether its the same agent for most of us who is in the waiting list

Even I’m waiting from Jan 6th I don’t know why these people are so slow just to create credentials will it take so long? Got frustrated with this PR process
