I called IRCC today and they told me that the eligibility is passed.
Background check not started yet. But on the website, it says 'in progess'.

The also told me that my visa office is Ottawa. Is it a "good one"? What are the feedbacks regarding this VO?

And what do you think about the current speed of my application?

Guys I just checked my portal and noticed my progress bar is back. Also, my BGC has moved from in progress to we are processing.

Thanks for all of your kind replies. I had to connect VPN and after that I was able to connect with IRCC number via Fongo.

It was 48 minutes including waiting time

Criminality is passed
Security not started
Vo is Ottawa

The agent could not confirm whether the eligibility was completely passed or not. She said that it is only written that eligibility passed. My Criminality is also passed.

Anyone please tell that what that mean? Please suggest

@legalfalcon please what could it mean when you keep getting Ghost Updates in your profile but no changes. I have never seen "Application in Progress" either. My account still reads "processing" & file transferred to LVO (Accra) but I have seen a couple of Ghost Updates with no actual updates. I currently don't know the status of my eligibility. Thank you.

Does your profile have similar experience? I have not been able to call Accra. I don't think you can call them, best to raise GCMS /Webform right now

Fongo is not working for me.
I tried Dingtone instead, I didn't purchase a virtual number in Dingtone. I bought 200 credits in Dingtone. But while trying IRCC number +18882422100 from Dingtone without a Canadian virtual number the call is getting disconnected after 2/3 rings.
My question is, do I need a Canadian virtual number to call IRCC and getting connected?Please suggest

I actually call them with my Nigerian line on Google Hangout and it’s totally free. Though I usually call through the Toronto Pearson Airport and they’d direct my call to IRCC. But it takes time to be honest
