In India now its time to get biometric only for students but before 2or 3 days ago its announced by ircc that biometric will start for all categories in India soon,so may be get update soon in your profile

Yeah, Students' season is being ended in 3-4 week of January.

As a primary applicant I do have inland spouse with me. After AOR, I will only link my acccount together or my spouse will have to link her account seperately?

Well I think you have to send your application without biometric because for sinp oid paper based application you have to submit your application with all relevant documents and wait for AR and then receive AOR then Biometric request will come in your profile. I hope now you understand the process of paper based application Under PNP

I received medical request in September and it was updated in gckey on November 02

If you have received MR that's mean you are inland, right ?

I’m in the same boat. Can somebody help answer this question? I think we need to wait for biometric to be done...?

Because of travel restrictions, many PR holders waiting to land in CANADA (before 18 March 2020 or later issued COPR). They knew that if they issue new COPRs to Outlanders, will be expired in some cases and they have to do re-work on that cases and eventually they stuck in old files rather than new ones. For that they have to bind to Inland files and Student-Family Application from outland. It's simple.

I understand your view.

But if students can enter to Canada why can't PR applicants ?

If they don't want to allow PR holder that's fine but at least they can complete other process, eg. MR..

Does anyone your know outland applicants got MR ?

My timeline is very similar to inland applicants. So I don't see why I should worry about it.
