India PCC from Toronto

Hello everyone

Please help! I sent my documents to BLS Brampton and they replied the following...

Dear Applicant,

Your application is pending due to the following reasons:

-You are required to mention entry exit stamp on second page of application.

OR

-Provide declaration for a specific period and copy of educational certificates

Please fill, print it, sign on form and email us scanned a new application form as per the passport

In case of any further error in your Application Form or any Pending Documents, we will return back your complete application, so you may re-submit your correct and complete application along with correct documents.

Required documents are detailed under Document Checklist, in BLS Website.

I dont really understand what I have to fill again in the format to be honest. Are they asking me to fill question 20? I thought that was IF I went back to India after being here in Canada....

I am a Colombian who lived in India for 8 months, 12 years ago. Please someone help me! This process has been way too tortuous.

You don't need Indian PCC because you lived there 12 years ago
CIC need PCC only for last 10 years

How do I get it ?

They haven't been picking phones. Try BLS twitter to provide some contact info. BLS only have one twitter account and not city specific. May be mention the name of your respective BLS in the tweet.

Hi, Is it necessary to sign the application form for PCC in Black ink? I have sent my application by signing in blue ink, will that be a problem?

I signed it with red ink and got my PCC.

Yeah when they dispatch the PCC they will update their application tracker with the Purolator tracking number

Hi.. just had a doubt regarding the payment draft...If I'm opting for the BLS pick up and drop off, do I need to get two certified cheques/DD from the bank as mentioned in the checklist or just one with the BLS fee only would suffice? (for Toronto jurisdiction)

And also regarding the envelope to send these document, will I need to get it on my own or would purolator provide it?

I have a question about printing the form, the application form is pretty distorted no matter what settings I select(the watermark from photo area appears in the middle of the form), any specific settings you would suggest?

I printed using firefox and it printed well. What browser did you try?

I have a complicated question. I got my wife's PCC from BLS Vancouver in july 2019.Her passport is expiring in three months gotta renew it. Will they do a police verification again? She has not been to India ever since then.

Bro I just got email from HCI Ottawa to submit ITA. i emailed them. Just to let you know.

Can you post the Email you received here? Because I was having the same question as I also applied in advance. Many people replied that it is not necessary and it's a good idea to apply in advance before receiving your ITA to save time. BLS Brampton didn't asked me for ITA, may be you can explain the High Commission that you're looking forward to get an ITA and just to avoid delays I'm applying for PCC. (It was a matter of luck that I received my copy of PCC via Purolater and ITA through IRCC on the same day i.e. January 8,2021.) Good luck with your application, hope you get the good news in the upcoming draw.

Same here, I didn't have ITA before applying, and they did not ask for but it is from HCI Ottawa which is asking for one.
