Got a request but cannot schedule an appointment at any of the ASC's currently. I guess its a waiting game right now

I would say call immigration, best times to call is not around 8am and not close to lunch time, since everyone is trying to reach them at that time. I would say around 1030am.

Thank you! Let’s hope it is possible to get them done sooner then later.
It appears that VACs are open, as long as you live near one you should be able to get an appointment.

Since I have applied through a lawyer, I am unable to see my status because the lawyer has applied from his account as he does for all the applications.
However, I have called customer care and found out that my background check is in the process which means I have passed Medicals and Bio-metrics stage.

Note: My lawyer does not give any minor updates, if there is anything major then he updates us.

Not necessarily until you see it on your dashboard that you passed your medical.

Gave them a call and said it's ok for FSW-O to give biometrics in land at Service Canada points. Thanks!
