I received my GCMS notes on January 4th stating the eligibility was not started (The assistant reviewed documents and recommended to pass criminality. At that time, the application wasn't touched since November.) I really do hope it started to move at least a little bit.
Hi! May I ask how long ago was your request for GCMS notes filed? I've submitted my request at the end of Oct. and I was notified the following month that the IRCC was unable to release the GCMS notes within the statutory time frame of 30 days and they required additional time, so they applied an extension of 90 days beyond the statutory 30 days limit.
After conclusively passing Eligibility (it will change to Passed in your GCMS notes), your online status won't actually change. Hence why it is always better to either call IRCC or request GCMS/ CBSA notes to get an accurate snapshot of your application in real time, or as close to real time as possible.
Security take on average 110 days based on previous data. The actual amount of time varies on a number of factors. There are people on the forum who have cleared Security in as little as a day. Some have taken weeks. For some, they get put into Enhanced Security. Each application is unique.
CBSA notes are usually quick. I got mine in 6 days when i requested them in December. That said, a lot more people are requesting notes from them instead of from IRCC now, so their workload in that regard has probably gone up. Hope you get a response soon.
