I mean for the first time you submitted your application, you also signed generic form by hand or generic form is the only one you signed digitally? I am asking this because you already mentioned that you did not sign the generic form by hand.

Sorry about confusion but I think I have singed by hand. Because today I asked cic agent about can I submit new form with original signature and she told me that they is no note in your application so you don't need to submit your form again.

Thanks. So it means if the application is complete they enter it in the system and issue the temporary file number. Otherwise they will return it without entering in the system.

I will say it takes around 5 months.
The lady told me today my profile is in the system. Temporary file number means they received your application and the review is pending. Once your application is reviewed by the officer, they will remove the first alphabet which is the ‘X’. The rest of them is the application number.

Call around early morning at 8am and waiting time is 5-10 minutes. Press button 2-1-0 amd it will direct you to agent. If it doesn’t connect try 5-6 time and you will succeed.

I called them at 8:20 am and the waiting time was 10 mins. Please call them early morning.

8.20 am of which city in canada? pls forgive my ignorance...(is that ottawa time?)

Finally my application is completed. Today when I checked ecas, it has changed DM to complete.

Upfront Medical SEP 25th
Medical passed NOV 3rd
DM NOV 5th
COPR JAN 9th
