Hi guys, I just submitted my application today (Jan 08th, 2021). When do you guys mention the "AR" date, is it any official letter from IRCC or just the shipping company's date that shows the application has been delivered?
I understand that AOR is an official letter, but not so sure about AR. Thanks!

AR is the information from your courier company of the date the package was delievered....no official communication until AoR as you rightly stated

Yes AR is when your application is delivered by courier company.

Hi everyone, my AR date was 17th July 2020. Still haven't recieved my AOR and wanted to check what's happening with it.. Does anyone have a contact number for CIC? Thanks and good luck with your applications :)

This is a good news actually. I had to apply for closed work permit and they gave 2 years of closed last year in august 2020 coz i didn't received file number AR- June 17 2020. And my pgwp expired in september. I will call cic on monday to confirm if tis all okay to go. This is a good chance to get open work permit again.can atleast do some part time work
