Received re-medicals request and schedule A forms to be submitted today for both me and my wife. We both are CEC inland applicants applied on Dec 4th, 2019. Is that a good sign @legalfalcon ?

I’ve got a ghost update recently and medical exam status changed to “You do not need a medical exam”. I wonder whether it’s an extension of the health check or a re-medical exam request.

it took me almost one month to get the reply. i sent my last webform on 3rd Dec, and received the reply on 31st Dec.

Wow, I guess the recent hit of the pandemic has heavily reduced their working capacity which had been already overloaded for a long time.

It just means your medicals have been sent for reassessment for either extension or remedical.

I received a GU too some weeks ago but my application is not updated with the message - "You do not need.." ... My medicals expired on Dec 19 so I am guessing the GU would be for medicals but never got a message on the account.. I also applied for gcms notes on nov 11th and still haven't received them.. I cant wait to hear something positive from Canada.. Hope they send out PPRs soon to everyone..

Thanks ... Mine is Ottawa as well ... AOR 25 DEC 2019... gave my Medicals on 11th DEC 2019... but on the account the medical pass date is 16th Jan 2020... not sure which of the two dates is considered...

validity date of medicals is one year after IRCC receives the medical report from your panel physician. Panel physicians usually send the medical report within 10 days of conducting the medical exam.

Correct ... I just called IRCC and they confirmed that my medicals have already expired on 13th December
