chill out guys, IRCC are on holidays now, and chance to get any answer from them is REEEEEEEALLLYYY low. Plus i heard that they get internal order to slow down, and wait. Even People with in-land application are postponed. I heard that they process only 15% of incoming applications right now. seems like we are stuck until whole COVID thing slow down.

Hello,
Called last night to IRCC. Agent told me that your application is waiting for just officer to make final decision.
She told me that officer may be thinking that after giving you the passport request you might not get authorised to land into canada so that's why officer may be delaying your application. And she told me that my meds are extended till 31st March.

I'd take this as good news! Hopefully sometime in March things will get back to normal and we'll get PPR and can finally move to Canada.
It's understandable why they don't give us PR now since we can't even land in Canada.

And this "And she told me that my meds are extended till 31st March." - is actually fantastic news! I just hope they give this extension to medicals for everybody in our situation.

So tired of waiting like this

Could you please provide when you received re-medical request? How you received it via email or a status change in the application? The reason for asking this question is my aor is in oct too and it is ON PNP, also vo is sydney. I haven't received any update so far .
