No need to show off your travel history...it is also sign of sluggishness that you could not settle in one country...secondly that guy needs only help regarding his travel plan from Lahore to Vancouver...and you r talking about your travel history...totally irrelevant with his requirement...btw I have seen more worldly busiest airports than you..but I don’t need to show off like you
exactly my point, so i am telling him something from my experience, if you ever go to a busy airport, which you havent i am sure, you ll realise, it takes alot of time with the queue as well as immgration just on a visit visa, and this is spousal immigration we are talking about, so if they hold one, or the queue is longer, it can actually take alot of time, i have been to toronto before which you havent i am sure, its huge airport, and it literally takes 40 mins between international to domestic which you wont know until you take a flight, i never mentioned my history, you just assumed i did! and my man, people dont travel to SETTLE, its not every ones dream to go to settle but you wouldnt know so its okay , please do not point fingers when you arent able to, Thanks

I am really sorry but I do really need to understand the purpose of you being on this forum? If you are one of the moderators, please let us know and share with us the policy of posting here. Otherwise, would be much appreciated if you can stop policing everyone on how to respond or what to write here - this is a public forum, not your personal blackboard.
We all have our experiences, some of us have actually been living / are in Canada ( vs you who is not even here yet ), so when we share a 'story', it is for all fellow members to benefit and get information from, not just you, so even if you are a know it all, perhaps others aren't.

In my experience, when international airlines book a ticket with a connecting flight, they are aware of the time it takes, plus you even get priority during security if they know your flight just landed and you need to board the next one immediately.
If in the rare chance it is missed because of a delay, the airline will ensure you get on the next flight. So if it's the same ticket your flight is booked with, hopefully there won't be an issue.

yes i was only talking about exceptions! if the weather is horrible, its unpredictable, one can miss a flight as i have many times with shorter layovers, the person who was asking about layovers, was trying to waste less time in layovers, so my point was being, thats keep it safe, if God forbid, your flight gets delayed or processing gets delayed for whatever reason, you have enough time to catch your domestic flight, yes they will book you in for next flight, but next flight could be scheduled after 5,6 or even 10 hours. So its better to be safe than sorry, thats all it is from my end!
I am oct 2019. Today i received Pre arrival letter. My file was in LVO like all pakistani files i send email to LVO exactly after 13 months of submission to give me status update in the next 10 days of that email i received email from Vienna Austria saying that, my file is transfered to them and will be processed soon and this email i got on 3 dec 2020. My husbands medical is expiring on 30 Dec 2020 so i planned that by 4 jan 2020 i will again bug vienna on same email thread that if they want we do another fresh medical since the one they have is expired. But today on 25 dec 2020 i got pre arrival letter.
What i have understood that if you have a straight forward genuine case, the sponsor must contact ircc exactly after 12 months for status update. Ircc offices are same as our home country Gov offices you need to give them wakeup calls so they pull your fill as you put inquiry and many times files are almost complete but due to big pile ups they are just handing there in queues. This is my personal feeling if anyone has straight file keep asking them.

That would be amazing if everyone could just simply ask them for an update after 12 months. Then they actually speed up and finalize everything.
Its such sad that you would have to reach out to them so they actually do their job lol. It should be a standard at this point that they do that for everyone after the 12 month mark.
Why would they continue to send Pakistani files to LVO if they know they are swamped already with old files.

I know you are so right, actually honestly speaking once you get the email from London for family reunification verification if you read that full email in the end it says that if you dont hear anything in 8 to 10 months please ask for update. So its highly recommeded to ask them as its a sponsor's right. Basically my first action was to call ircc canada from on 13the month and from them i was advised to contact London and Ircc representative emailed me contact details for london and then my email to LVO and response i got from Vienna.LVO is pretty busy as all middle easters. Pak , Afgham files go to them
