@TNtsima , your friend should have updated their file to let immigration know that they are back together long before either of the got AIP, with this info, it won't look genuine especially if their reasons for separation was irreconcilable differences, let them not fall into IRCC trap...... I will advise the one who gets PR first sponsor the other at a later date.
Hi everyone im asking on behalf of someone. If they were legally separated but mentioned as spouse- legally separated on application. They both have separate cases. One got AIP and going on 2nd stage, can they mention now that they are still married? They never divorced.
As long as that Marriage is not void they’re still Married.Being separated does not mean divorced. And since your friend and his/her partner have rekindled their love,it’s only right to declare that to IRCc.your friends just got to prove that it’s a legitimate union. That’s why IRCC states if there’s any changes in marital status,it should be reported.I hope this helps

Of course, you need to send the AIP letter, your child's birth certificate if you have Refugee brownpaper also send it, passport copies , statement of income, income tax , proof of address And there is a form you need to fill. You will end up filling as I remember 3 forms for CCB.
I sent all that and the application was accepted. Your child will get his/her CCB from the day of AIP approval

Yes, but they both have separate H$C applications , one got aip, the other is still waiting, according to @TNtsima , they want to merge their applications now.

If it’s merging, they can’t just do that on their own.But like I said, since they’ve now worked out their differences,it should be noted. Then,it’s up to IRCc to do the merging. If his friend lands without declaring they’re now on good terms, that may be problematic
